Metrics
Your sending numbers per domain and per day: deliverability, bounces, complaints, opens and clicks.
The Metrics page shows your real sending numbers, per domain and per day. They come from the same daily counts that decide when a domain is paused, so what you see here is what Notix judges your domains on.
Open Metrics
Go to Metrics
In the console, go to Metrics in the menu.
Pick a domain and a range
Choose All domains or one domain, and the last 7, 15, 30 or 90 days. Days run in UTC and end today.
What each number means
| Number | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Emails | Every email sent in the range. |
| Deliverability rate | Delivered emails as a share of emails sent. |
| Bounce rate | Every bounce as a share of emails sent, split into Permanent and Temporary. |
| Complaint rate | People who marked an email as spam, as a share of emails sent. |
| Open rate | Opened emails as a share of delivered emails, only for domains with open tracking on. |
| Click rate | Clicked emails as a share of delivered emails, only for domains with click tracking on. |
The chart stacks each day's delivered, bounced and complained emails.
Notix pauses a domain when permanent bounces reach 4% or complaints reach 0.08% of the emails it sent in the last 7 days. See Domain health and pauses.
Undetermined bounces are not counted apart yet. They are part of Temporary for now.
Open and click rates need tracking on the domain. Turn it on in Tracking. With no tracked domain in range, the rate shows as not available.
The rates use each domain's tracking setting as it is now, not as it was on each day. If you turned tracking on or off part way through the range, that domain is counted for the whole range or left out of it.
Metrics from the API
GET /v1/metrics answers the same numbers. Pass days (7, 15, 30 or 90, 30 by default) and, if you like, domainId.
curl "https://app.usenotix.dev/api/v1/metrics?days=30" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $NOTIX_API_KEY"
import { Notix } from "notix-js";
const notix = new Notix(process.env.NOTIX_API_KEY);
const { data: metrics } = await notix.metrics.get({ days: 30 });
console.log(metrics?.rates.deliverability, metrics?.rates.permanentBounce);
AI agents read it with the get_email_metrics tool. See Read sending metrics for every field.
