Where you are moving from

• Migrate from SendGrid — we read your account with a read-only key you paste.
• Migrate from Resend — we read your account with a read-only key you paste.

• Migrate from Brevo — upload your exported contacts and unsubscribes.
• Migrate from Postmark — upload your exported contacts and unsubscribes.

Sending from something else? Every provider exports a CSV, and Notix imports contacts and suppressions from any of them. Ask us and we will do the move with you.

Unsubscribes come first, always

The import writes every unsubscribe, bounce and complaint before the first contact. That order is enforced by the importer, not by a setting: a person who opted out at your old provider has to be unable to receive mail from Notix even if the rest of the import fails halfway. Anyone on that list arrives as a contact who is already unsubscribed, so you keep the record without the risk.

What happens to your API key

If you connect an account, the key is held encrypted for one hour while the import runs and dropped as soon as it finishes. It is never written to our database, never logged and never used to send email — Notix only ever reads. Revoke it at your provider afterwards; our copy is already gone.

Your first campaign gets read

The first campaign you send to imported contacts is reviewed by us before it goes out. It takes a few minutes in normal hours, and it is there because an import is the one moment a mistake reaches thousands of people at once.
